Download and install on your machine
The link resolves the channel’s promoted version the moment you click — nothing here points at a fixed file.
Recommended for your system
Always the latest stable release.
Other update channels
The channels below get releases before stable. They update through the same mechanism as the app, but may carry bugs that are not fixed yet — use them on projects you can roll back.
What you get on each system
- macOS
A disk image to drag into Applications; the .zip exists for automatic updates.
.dmg.zip
- Windows
An installer that lets you pick the folder and installs for your user only.
.exe.zip
- Linux
AppImage runs on any distribution; .deb and .rpm for those who prefer native packages.
.AppImage.deb.rpm
01
One installer per system
Each platform gets the format it expects, and the link picks for you from the system you point at. The Windows installer is deliberately not one-click: you choose the directory, and it installs for your user without asking for an administrator.
02
It updates itself, and you decide when to restart
The app looks for a new version every four hours, downloads in the background and applies it when you quit — never interrupting work mid-flight. When a release fixes something that cannot stay on an older build, it is marked mandatory and the app asks for the update before going on.
03
If your system warns you about the app
macOS and Windows warn when they do not recognize who signed a program. If that happens, confirm you reached the file through this page — downloads always go through the Planuze releases endpoint, never a mirror — and allow it from your system’s security settings.

What changed in each version
The notes for every published version, exactly as the team wrote them. The list is read from the releases service — the same one that resolves your download.
